Established by an Act of Parliament in 1994 (revised in 2002), LGTI is a practical-oriented professional center dedicated to training, research, and consultancy services in local government finance, administration, and management. Operating under the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) within the Business, Tourism, and Planning (BTP) sector, the institute offers various programs such as Local Government Accounting and Finance, Local Government Administration and Management, Community Development, Human Resource Management, Procurement and Supplies Management, and Records, Archives, and Information Management.

  3. Enter your Form Four Index Number or its equivalent.

  8. Pay the non-refundable application fee of 10,000 TZS via M-Pesa, Tigo-Pesa, Airtel Money, or bank.
  9. Keep your payment receipt (digital or paper) as proof.
  10. Add your relevant qualifications.
  11. Select your program of choice.
  12. Confirm and submit your application.

For those with an existing account, log in using your Form Four Index Number as the username and your last name (surname) as the password to complete the application process.
